How do I get a contract farming company for my crop?
Tell us your crop, acres, district and water source using the form on this page. If your farm or group fits what a sourcing company needs, we take your details to suitable companies and help both sides agree terms. We cannot promise a company will sign.
Do you charge farmers?
The first conversation is free. If you want us to review a contract or represent your FPO in negotiations, we tell you the scope and any fee in writing before starting. We do not take a share of your crop.
Is it better to join through an FPO?
Often, yes. Companies find it easier to work with an organised group, and an FPO gives farmers a stronger voice on price, quality checks and payment. Small farmers can still be part of a programme through a group.
What should I check before signing a contract?
Check how the price is worked out, the quality norms and who tests them, when and how you will be paid, what happens if the crop fails, and how disputes are settled. Never sign anything you have not read or had explained. We review contracts for farmers.
Which law covers contract farming?
The Centre’s Model Agricultural Produce and Livestock Contract Farming and Services (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2018 is a model for states to adopt. The 2020 central Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act was repealed by the Farm Laws Repeal Act, 2021, so your state’s law and APMC rules apply.
